Post The dog thread
I've got a mate who lives in my house. He sleeps on my floor, and we share food. You can talk with him about anything. He'll fight anybody, he doesn't give a shit. He's pretty awesome. He's a dog, yeah, but you can't hold that against him, like.
Yeah, this is the thread for all things dog. Post a picture of your little, or not so litte, mate and say a few kind words about him. They deserve it.
Here's mine, ignoring the camera like he always does.
He's getting pretty old now, but he hates to get left behind. So what I do is I take a red cloth bag around with me on the walks, and when he gets too tired, I carry him in the bag.

Oh he DOES have some age on him, doesnt he? Wow.

Maxie (or Monkey, or puppa, or monkeynuts, puppapants, poo poo dog), is 5 now, thats starting to get old for a dog with a life span of 8-10 years.

I wouldnt know where to begin or what to say about him other than he truly is the love of my life and the truest friend I've ever known. He doesnt have an ounce of selfishness in him, would lay down his life for you if he had to just as easily as licking for face long past the feeling you'll eventually drown.

He is all things good to me.

He looks a bit like my old collie cross labrador, whom I have very fond memories of.
I have bad news: my dog is very ill. He seems weak, and can't keep food down. He just kind of sits there all day. I'm beginning to doubt whether he'll recover :(

My dog is dead. I cried. I didn't expect to, but I did. I was OK until it was time to take him for his walk. Then I realised.

Oh man, I'm SOO SORRY to hear that. After I had to put my last dog down I kept finding his toys under things, where he'd hidden them for safe keeping. I think I cried for almost a month.

Very sorry and sad to read your news! Very painful to lose a good pet/friend. Last year I lost Poet my 13 year old Golden retriever. She was my baby long before I even had my children and she stayed my baby until she died.

Here is he last photo I took of my baby Poet two days before she died. She was 13 years old. It was over a year ago and I still miss her so much!

I walk the dogs for about a 3 mile walk every day to keep them and myself fit.

Here I am with Cagney and Lacey on our walk last weekend, the little girl is one of Robyn's Pals.

Brodie, cagney and Lacey. I don't need to walk Brodie on the Lead, he is such a good boy!

A happy Cagney

We meet these lovelies most days walking the dogs.

Robyn and her friend with the girls.
