Faleev has summed up his approach as “Nothing extra!” In one sentence, it is about doing only four things: the squat, the bench, the deadlift, and competing regularly. That’s it.

It that all he does? I thought that you would need to do a larger range to work everything? I know I am only a noob at the moment. Does he think it is a waste of time doing other kinds of lifts? So just do thses and don't bother about the rest?

do remember this is only one guy's opinion, but yes, if you check the whole article, at one point it states he onl considers extra lifts useful when they're vital for correcting a dangerous imbalance. do note however that he's a competitive powerlifter and the guide is oriented towards powerlifters, who compete with only those three lifts. i'm pretty sure something like this would be useless for an olympic lifter, for example, perhaps even if he/?she replaced the power lifts with the oly lifts.

Challenge accepted.
Nothing but squat, deadlift and bench plus some rope jumping, kata & bagwork.

power lifters have long conteded you can get all the arm and shoulder development you need out of doing the "big three" wicked heavy. I dont know if I agree across the board but I do know that from years of heavier benching than back stuff my triceps are much more developed than my biceps even though I do more direct bicep work than tricep work.

hmmm, cool. I'm mildly concerned that I will lose the ability to chin if I do this. But we'll see in, oooh, 12 week's time?
