Yeah, for a small woman...I don't want to be a small woman...I want to be a monster.

Nice, to be fair 10 is a good number anyway, most people would struggle to do that. 3 sets is good, how many to you have to do for your weight?

Good work peeps! Winnie's a punk - you're way ahead of most - even other guys. Mind if I ask how many sets you did the 20 in? If it's 1 set then you already are a monster! :hawk:

No it was 12/8...

Update...12/12/6

I know that's great for a small woman, but I still just feel enraged at myself for being "weak". Go figure. I'm messed up, lol.

I guess that depends on your definition of weak then. I know some big muscular dudes that couldnt match that. The only weakness you have is in your ability to see your own strength.

Wow, that was so "snatch this pebble, glasshoppah" of me...

Hmmm...anyone try doing pull ups with their legs out to the front at 90 degrees?

yeah.

pull-ups are generally harder than L-sits though, IMO, so the arms go first.

It's all in the lats, dude!

Good training for this it to do a bucket load of lat pulldowds on a machiine, do them as wide as you can using only your fingers for grip, i.e. thumbs out of the equation, use as much weight as you can and, if you're still struggling with BW pull-ups, do them on an assist machine for high reps, this'll get your body used to the movement and recruit a bit of muscle memory.

FYI, I'm shit at pull-ups, best I ever did in the Army was 12 on a thick wooden bar.

Pavel's Grease the Groove works really well for pullups if you have the free time or at least can get to a suitable bar frequently.

Unsuitable bars are fun but not so great at improving your pullups.
